The DPP has launched a new research programme, the Media CTO Survey 2024. This project will reveal the technology investment priorities, leadership challenges, recruitment strategies and business goals of CTOs working in media, broadcasting, news and entertainment.
Chief Technology Officers in the industry are invited to be participate, which will help showcase how technology and business leaders in the media industry are investing and preparing for the future. What are their technology priorities, and what are the biggest leadership challenges they are wrestling with?
The findings from the inaugural DPP Media CTO Survey 2024 will be released in November 2024. The report will be launched at the DPP Executive Summit, a closed, invitation-only event for business and technology executives from media and broadcast companies, where participating CTOs will discuss the findings of the research.
The DPP is also inviting Chief Technology Officers from non-member organisations to be part of the Media CTO Survey 2024. Participating CTOs will receive a personal benchmarking pack showing how their organisation's technology investments and priorities compare to other media, broadcasting, entertainment and news organisations.
"The DPP Media CTO 2024 is an exciting new research project which will highlight the opportunities, challenges, technology investments, transformation initiatives, innovation programmes and leadership approaches at major media organisations," said DPP Editorial Director Edward Qualtrough.
"This unique piece of insight will focus exclusively on the needs and investments of CTOs in media. We are delighted to invite all Chief Technology Officers from media, news, entertainment and broadcast organisations to participate."
The final deadline to complete the survey is Monday 30 September 2024. To find out more about the project, media CTOs are asked to contact DPP Editorial Director Edward Qualtrough to receive the survey details.
The DPP Media CTO Survey 2024 is enabled by Lead Sponsor Cognizant, and Expert Sponsors SDVI and Signiant.
