The DPP has appointed Margaret Craig, veteran tech CEO and international business leader, as its newest board member.
Margaret brings with her a wealth of C-Suite and board experience from a variety of global technology and service providers. She has a broad and deep understanding of the Media & Entertainment space as well as the DPP itself, having previously served as CEO of Signiant - a founding member of the DPP.
Craig’s considerable experience will strengthen the representation of technology innovators on the DPP’s board. Prior to Signiant, she held CEO, COO, and President positions at Ascent Media Group, Leitch Technology, and Snell & Wilcox. She has also served on the board of directors at Digitalsmiths and Sohonet.
This new appointment demonstrates the DPP’s ongoing commitment to its growing membership, which represents an ever increasing number of countries and sectors. Margaret will serve on the board alongside the DPP’s Executive team, Non-Executive Director Danny Meaney, Founder & CEO of UP Ventures Group, and Chair Helen Stevens, Operations Officer, Content Supply & Distribution at ITV.
The DPP’s member network now comprises over 520 companies from across the whole content supply chain, including more than 130 media and content companies, 170 technology companies, and 160 service providers. The quality of the network provides DPP members with unique insights around the latest trends and issues within the media industry.
Margaret Craig says, “I have been a strong supporter of the DPP since it was founded in 2015, so I know the organisation’s value very well. I’m looking forward to applying my experience to assist the DPP in setting and executing its strategy for the benefit of all members.”
Rowan de Pomerai, DPP CEO adds, “I couldn’t be more excited by Margaret’s appointment. Not only does she bring extensive expertise in organisational leadership and strategy, but she also enhances the diversity of the industry experience represented at our board. This will enable us to effectively navigate a turbulent industry and continue our growth.”
Helen Stevens, DPP Chair says, “I’m delighted to welcome Margaret to the DPP board, where I know she’ll offer insight and wisdom that will help propel the DPP into its next phase of success.”
