The DPP is inviting Chief Information Security Officers, equivalent InfoSec leaders and subject matter experts to contribute to a new research project exploring the biggest cyber threats facing the media, broadcast and entertainment industry.
The State of Media Technology Security 2024 will uncover the major vulnerabilities in media, and investigate how media companies and their technology suppliers are responding to the evolving security and threat landscape.
The State of Media Technology Security 2024 is an independent research project by the DPP. It is supported by Lead Sponsor Ross Video.
What are the major vulnerabilities, and how are media companies and their technology suppliers responding to the evolving security and threat landscape? Is the industry as a whole really doing enough to protect the entire ecosystem?
Dozens of major broadcasters, media companies and technology suppliers have already responded to an industry survey, which will help establish the state of cyber security preparedness in the media industry.
The deadline to be part of the research project and complete the survey is Friday 19 July at 5pm BST. Only one response can be accepted from each organisation, which should be from a CISO or equivalent role. To find out if your company has participated and learn how to get involved, contact DPP Editorial Director Edward Qualtrough.
The DPP has already facilitated an engaging workshop session, which brought together CISOs and security experts from some of the biggest news, media and broadcast companies — along with with key vendor partners — to discuss new approaches to cyber security.
The State of Media Technology Security 2024 will be published and launched at the DPP Espresso Summit on Friday 12 September at IBC in Amsterdam. Spaces at the DPP Espresso Summit are limited, and to register your interest contact events@thedpp.com.
